Two days, multiple stages, and numerous insightful conversations at the American Electronics Manufacturing Summit in Dallas.
I had the privilege of representing BSU Incorporated in various roles, including participating in a panel discussion, hosting a fireside chat, serving as MC, and sitting down for an interview with Mark Blendheim (Generis) focused on the opportunities and challenges shaping our industry.
A highlight was joining Claudeliah J. Roze (TTM Technologies), Nick DeSimone (TE Connectivity) and Luke O’Brien (Viaduct) for the panel “Building the Next Generation of Electronics Manufacturing Industry Leaders.” Our conversation kept returning to the same challenge: how to scale expertise through AI, preserve institutional knowledge, and develop the talent that will carry this industry forward.
I also had a great fireside chat with Abhijit Supekar (Aeva) on “Building Unshaken Supply Chains: Leadership, Quality, and Resilience in an Era of Geopolitical Uncertainty.” His point that disruption is the new normal resonated — it’s exactly the reality we navigate every day as we source components on behalf of our customers. A conversation we continued when Andrew Scheuermann (Arch Systems) brought us together for dinner!
As manufacturing continues to evolve, the organizations that succeed will be those that can combine deep operational knowledge with emerging technologies — while investing in the next generation of talent and building a culture of continuous learning.
